With Patrick Bouju at the helm of the Vivanterre project, it’s no surprise these wines are delicious. Rosé Petnat 2022 is a blend of both white and red grapes, predominantly Gamay and Syrah, with smaller quantities of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner. The Gamay is macerated for five days on the skins, before blending with the other grapes which undergo direct-press only. Elegant bubbles with sharp notes of natural yoghurt balanced by sweeter flavours of strawberries and whipped cream. Highly structured and perfectly balanced. Rosé Petnat 2022 would pair well with burrata and in-season tomato and peach salad.
