Annesanti hails from Castel di Lago, nestled in the Umbrian hills of Valnerina. Following biodynamic practices, wines are bottled during the waning moon phase without fining or filtration. Suppriscola 2021 is 100% Barbera, an old varietal originating from Piedmont. Maceration takes place for 15 days before ageing in stainless steel. Classic flavours of tart cherry, liquorice and red berries as well as violet undertones combine with rustic notes. Suppriscola 2021 would pair well with a cassoulet.
